Consulate General of France in Miami
The Consulate General of France in Miami provides protection and assistance to French nationals living in the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and the US Virgin Islands. The consular section issues identity and travel documents, as well as various administrative certificates. French nationals living in this consular district can also apply for means-tested benefits and social assistance.

SelectFlorida
SelectFlorida, Inc. (SelectFL) was formed and founded in 2023 to absorb the state’s international commerce functions and operate as a model Direct Support Organization (DSO) for the Florida Department of Commerce (FloridaCommerce). SelectFL is proud to be the state’s official international trade and investment promotion agency. SelectFlorida’s mission to is attract, retain, and create higher-wage jobs for Floridians by working closely with FloridaCommerce to achieve this goal.

Beacon Council
Led by a professional staff and Board of volunteer community leaders, the organization facilitates business growth and expansion locally, nationally and internationally. The Council was founded in 1985 as an outgrowth of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce to focus on business recruitment, expansion and retention. Today, the Miami-Dade Beacon Council continues to advance community objectives through a carefully planned action-oriented agenda developed in collaboration with Miami-Dade County officials, education, business and civic leaders.

International Trade Consortium
The International Trade Consortium (ITC) advises on issues affecting the Miami-Dade County's international trade agenda, assists staff in establishing yearly measurable objectives, establishes program priorities, and recommends the agency's budget for consideration by the Mayor and County Commission. The Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners appoint citizen volunteers from the public and private sectors to the ITC and the key economic development agencies in the community also appoint representatives to the ITC Board.

Business France, the French agency for the international development of companies, supports French companies in their development abroad. It was born from the merger of Ubifrance and AFII (French Agency for International Investments) in 2015.

The Union of French Citizens Abroad (UFE), a recognized public-interest organization, is a network that brings together French citizens and Francophiles worldwide. It provides them with a special connection to France, defends their interests, and offers daily support and assistance. Founded in 1927, it has volunteer-run branches in approximately one hundred countries.

EFE International
EFE International is an initiative led by the National Committee of French Foreign Trade Advisors and the network of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad, both private economic operators. The creation of EFE International in September 2021 is, above all, the result of a strong desire to support French entrepreneurs abroad in their development, particularly those who have a positive impact on economic activity in France. The health crisis and the challenges faced by many of them, who received no assistance in their host countries, accelerated the establishment of EFE International.
