Miami Accueil invites you to discover or rediscover the Cuban heart of Miami, accompanied by a Francophile artist of Cuban origin:

The Cuban Heart of Miami

Who hasn't heard of the Little Havana district and its famous Calle Ocho, mythical places like Domino Park, the Tower cinema, the "Ball & Chain" pub and its live bands, or the many murals, cigar stores and picturesque little art galleries?

This tour is as much about culture as it is about food! We'll wake up our taste buds with a cup of coffee and some sweet treats from the Cuban café "La Colada Gourmet", before strolling through this vibrant neighborhood, guided by José, a Francophile artist of Cuban origin who has lived in Miami since the 70s. He'll share his insights into the history of Calle Ocho!

Program:

10.30 :

- Tasting of a Cuban coffee and cupcake.

- Demonstration of coffee roasting.

11:15 12:15 :

- Stroll and visit to the buildings and establishments of Calle 8

- Presentation of the historical monuments of calle 8

- Visit to Parc Domino.

- Discover the frescoes of Calle 8

- Visit to an art gallery.

- Visit to a Cuban cigar store and explanation of how cigars are made by hand.

- Tasting of sugarcane juice

- Discover Cuban music at the "Ball & Chain".

12:30:
