Thank You National Hotel for renewing your trust with us as a Councilor member!

Newly renovated in 2014, The National Hotel redefines the 1940’s classic era of grace, elegance and style; a cinematic Art Deco landmark that epitomizes the mood and décor of the city’s timeless paradise with modern panache.

Designed by Roy France, one of the period’s foremost architects, this beachfront resort became one of the grandest luxury hotels on Miami Beach when it opened in 1940. Every corner welcomes and inspires its guests and visitors alike with its original vintage pieces, such as re-upholstered “barrel” chairs in the lounge and lobby, polished chrome light fixtures, illuminating public areas and the terrazzo flooring in the Martini Room and Oval Room. Particularly notable is the massive oak bar that serves as the centerpiece of the hotel’s Blues Bar, or the original chandelier, preserved in its larger indoor event space, the Oval Room.

The hotel was recognized by “Historic Hotels of America” for maintaining its architectural authenticity, offering subtle and sophisticated elements of contemporary design for the discerning traveler. Boasting 116 newly renovated art deco city view and ocean view rooms along with 36 cabana rooms skirted along the famous 205 foot infinity-edge pool, the longest in Miami Beach. A second heated leisure pool with cascading waterfall creates the iconic backdrop to lavish weddings, cocktail receptions and celebrated photo or film shoots. The National Hotel offers international cuisine to its guests at Tamara’s Bistro, an elegant indoor/outdoor space, ordained with a beautifully restored mosaic of famed artist of the era, Tamara De Lampicka, directly above the main dining room. Just a few feet over, timeless cocktail creations are served at the Blue’s Bar with unforgettable live jazz entertainment.

The National Hotel’s backdrop consists of sun and sand along their beachfront shoreline, where guests lounge on specialty day beds with personalized food & beverage service.
