CMX Cinemas, the eighth largest movie theater chain in the United States, opened its doors in April 2017 at Brickell City Centre, Miami, FL, offering new features to give guests an innovative and VIP movie-going experience, inviting guests to indulge in a new, distinctive VIP cinema experience.
With 35,759 sq. feet of theater space, CMX Brickell‘s luxury concept features 10 viewing rooms, cutting-edge audiovisual technology, full-service gourmet dining and an elegant bar and lounge. Moviegoers can enjoy a fun and luxurious experience with in-seat dining, complete with seamless service and a curated menu with a delicious selection of food, signature cocktails and wines. Menu items include Black Angus Filet Mignon, Grilled Salmon & Spinach and Tavern-Style pizzas. CMX Brickell City Centre features ultimate comfort with oversized upholstered reclining seats with leather accents, a swivel table and dedicated service push button. Each chair also includes a dim LED light, a convenient USB outlet and storage compartments for purses and shopping bags.
CMX Cinemas – Brickell, the newest community destination, also features the trendy and exclusive Stone Sports Bar, an upscale, lounge surrounded with the latest technology in largescale LED screens for a paramount experience. Guests can sit back, relax and view their favorite sports teams while enjoying an exceptional assortment of handcrafted cocktails made to order by experienced mixologists as well as delicious entrees and snacks for lunch, brunch and dinner in a comfortable yet posh setting, making CMX Cinemas a one-stop-shop for entertainment.
Cutting edge laser technology is featured in all ten viewing rooms with state of the art audio and projection equipment. One of the rooms includes Dolby Atmos’ superior technology, taking traditional surround sound to the next level with powerful audio that travels from all directions, filling the theater with astonishing clarity, richness, detail and depth. CMX Cinemas has developed an industry-innovative and intuitive app, where customers can browse movie selections and times, and purchase tickets in advance. The app allows guests to view the menu, order chef-inspired dishes and mixology creations, which are delivered straight to their seat without any interruptions. With a seamless user experience, the app brings convenience to the next level with just one touch.
CMX, provides state-of-the art technology that can be enjoyed in-seat or at the theatre’s trendy and exclusive sports-lounge bar, making CMX the one-stop-shop for entertainment. CMX has 31 sites, 342 screens and 2,030 employees, in venues located in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and Colorado.
